Republic’s management team an experienced group of knowledgeable, resourceful and innovative individuals that bring a century of combined energy expertise and experiences. The Republic Team prides itself on a fully diversified energy spectrum of experience ranging from drilling and exploration through midstream gathering, treating, and processing, construction and operations of pipelines to the downstream end-user.

Don has more than 36 years of energy industry management experience including the acquisition, construction, management, and operation of interstate pipeline companies, gas and crude marketing companies, exploration and production companies as well as extensive involvement with midstream companies. Prior to joining Republic in late 2015, he was the Senior Vice President of a producer owned, midstream group responsible for the design, construction and operation of a large diameter gas gathering and transportation system in the Utica and Marcellus basins of West Virginia and Ohio. Don’s responsibilities also included all commercial aspects and system expansion to provide extensive service to third party producers.
In 2006, Don helped found and was president a small public exploration and production company with producing properties in the Permian Basin of Texas, Southern Louisiana and in North Dakota. In the late 1980s, Don co-founded and managed a private natural gas marketing company. He has also owned and managed an exploration and production company that targeted 3-D seismic bright spots along the Gulf Coast into South Texas within the Miocene, Frio and Yegua formations. Prior to moving into exploration and production and marketing, Don spent seven years with a large interstate pipeline company.
Don’s experience and knowledge of both the upstream (exploration and production) and midstream (gathering, transportation and processing) sectors of the energy business is a common theme within Republic’s management team. Don holds a BBA from Southwest Texas State University with dual concentrations in Management and Finance.

Greg brings 25 years of commercial, business development and marketing and trading experience within the energy industry. In a management capacity, he has held several business development roles within large public and private midstream organizations. Greg’s responsibilities have included the sourcing, diligence, structuring and negotiation of commercial agreements critical to the execution of successful pipeline projects.
Prior to joining Republic in late 2015, Greg co-founded a pipeline development company which sought to design, construct, own and operate pipelines that would serve as the “on and off ramps” to the interstate pipeline grid. Greg’ energy career began in the commodity marketing and trading sector with a number of large global energy companies. Greg holds a BS in Finance from Oklahoma State University and a Graduate Certificate in Energy Risk Management from the University of Houston.

Greg is a commercial and business development executive with track record of performance, integrity and sound judgment. Greg spent his first 30 years with Amoco/BP, then worked four years as Vice President of an entrepreneurial US oil and gas producer/driller and most recently worked for the E&P entity of NextEra Energy, a large utility in a business development capacity focused on originating and negotiating E&P deals in US unconventional resource plays. Greg began his career as petroleum engineer and quickly progressed to commercial and management roles, with international and US business development experience (midstream, LNG, E&P, gas and power) spanning 20 countries and over 20 years.
Mark brings 17 years of accounting and finance experience within the upstream (exploration and production), midstream (gas, crude and NGL’s), downstream (refining and marketing) and oilfield services sectors of the energy business. He began his career in big four accounting and subsequently moved into the industry, working with start-ups, private companies and large public companies. Mark has been extensively involved in mergers and acquisitions, finance and accounting, and business development. Mark attended the University of North Texas where he graduated with a Masters degree and a BS in Accounting and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant.

David brings nine years of increasing responsibility and management experience within the upstream (exploration and production) and midstream (gathering, transportation and processing) sectors of the energy business. His career includes roles with public and private companies as well as startups and a small family office. David’s disciplinary focus has included business development, legal management, risk compliance, finance and accounting. David attended Tulane University where he graduated with a BS in Finance and earned a Masters degree in Accounting. David also attended the University of Houston Law Center, where he earned a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree and is licensed to practice law in the state of Texas.
